Welcome to Broken Tackle Pond. This pond was on my property when I bought it, but has not been maintained for the past 30+ years. My goal is to bring this pond back to life!

My Goal for Broken Tackle
- Have a functional pond that holds water at a consistent level throughout the year
- Restore Pond to provide habitat for wildlife
- Potentially be able to support a small population of some kind of fish
Brief Plan
The plan for this project is evolving, and my estimated timeline for it is 2 years
- Step one is to remove all the trees growing in the pond and pond dike
- Evaluate the effectiveness of tree removal on the ponds ability to hold water
- Once enough information is gained, next steps will be developed
